Did you know that Bob Ross was a general in the United States Air Force before becoming a full-time paint instructor?

Bob Ross is everyone's favorite soft spoken paint instructor, that inspired many of us to pick up our brushes, liquid gesso, and paint thiner and get to work. Every transition was accompanied with "beating the devil out" of our brushes. Even the most amateur of painters felt compelled to give it a go. Outside of his wit and charm, Bob Ross filled each episode with life lessons to consider. Here are a few of our favorites!
